Job Posting: Ravine Steward, Admin, and Special Events and Projects Assistant

This is the third of three job opportunities available through the Still Moon Arts Society.

The Ravine Steward, Admin, and Special Events and Projects Assistant will work with the Artistic Director and the Communications, Outreach, and Administrative Assistant summer student. This position is designed to support artistic or scientific endeavors of the student, with opportunity for the student to add their own skillset. The summer student will be mentored by a variety of stakeholders with expertise in event planning, ecology, and art.

Job details: June 29th – August 24th, 2015 (8 weeks, 35 hours/week)

Applicants must:

  2. have been registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;

Job Posting: Communications, Outreach, and Administrative Assistant

This is the second of three job opportunities available through the Still Moon Arts Society.

The Communications, Outreach, and Administrative Assistant will work with the Artistic Director, members of the Still Moon Board, and the Ravine Steward, Admin, and Special Events Projects Assistant summer student. This position is designed to cater to the goals of the summer student, as well as fulfill the needs of the society. Through this job, the student will be able to learn the administrative and artistic tasks of running a small non-profit arts organization.

Job details: May 25th – August 17th, 2015 (12 weeks, 35 hours/week)

Job Posting: Youth Engagement Project Coordinator

This is the first in three job postings to work with Still Moon Arts Society.

Under the supervision of the Artistic Director, the Youth Engagement Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating opportunities for youth, specifically projects/programs focused on environmental stewardship, ecological art, community development, and performance training. In addition to organizing, the coordinator will be expected to promote the workshops/events in collaboration with the Communication Committee, communicate with workshop leaders and partners involved in each project, and maintain reporting. The coordinator will also support existing projects, including a youth committee that organizes a portion of the annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival.

Hours are mostly flexible, 15 hours/week for Spring-Summer, 8 hours/week Fall-Winter
