On Friday evenings rehearsals are underway for the finale. We had our first rehearsal on Sept 11th and there is still time to join if you want to be part of the fun. The lantern workshops have just begun and there is still lots of time to drop in and make a lantern to carry in the Moon Festival. Yoko Tomita is leading the workshops and she can give expert advice on creating simple globe lanterns or more complex,  but worth the extra work bamboo frame lanterns. Workshops [...]

Things are getting pretty exciting around here. The postcards are at the printers, we are on the final t-shirt design, the living room is full of lantern skeletons waiting for paper and the dorsal fin for the Fish Out of  Water costume is looking great! The Performance intensive wrapped up on Friday August 28th with a picnic and show in Slocan Park.
