On Sunday March 21st we’ll have a Fishy bike parade following the course of Still Creek which happens to be the same as the Central Valley Greenway Bike Route. Join us on the parade and come to a great hidden treasure outdoor performance space right on the greenway, the stream, and near the Sperling skytrain station. Parade starts about 1pm at Renfrew Station. Tea, music, art a show, and prayers for the water at our hidden treasure performance space will be from 2-4:30pm….more details to come!
I created my metal art fishbones called “Spirit Fish” for an international art show called ArtPrize (artprize.org). The originals are oversized on heavy hangers and chains to mimic an actual stringer of fish. The Sturgeon is 10′, (about 3 meters). I am looking for a home for the 2009 installation.
