Still Creek Stories, published in 2017 by Still Moon Arts Society and edited by Carmen Rosen, with assistance from Kaitlyn Fung and Bea Miller, is a collection of community stories, art, and history relating to Still Creek, Renfrew Ravine, and the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood. From childhood memories in the creek to the celebrated return of the salmon to our waterways, the book features stories that were forgotten, unheard, or lost, and how they are rediscovered within a blossoming and creative community.

Still Creek Stories Performances
In July 2016, we invited aspiring youth performers share two of the days to learn interdisciplinary techniques to expressing their creativity under the mentorship of artist/vocalist Carmen Rosen and director/choreographer Isabelle Kirouac, singer/dancer Laura Crema, and visual artist/musician Robin Lough. The performances were a way to animate the community-inspired stories through dance, poetry, music, vocal body, theatre, and ephemeral art.
The Still Creek Stories project and Still Creek performances were made possible by funding from the BC Arts Council, Canada Council, the support of Still Creek Press, and generous community members, all of whom have our deepest thanks for contributing their time to this project.
